On my walk this morning, I decided to try a scone at a local panadería (bakery) called Pan-tásticos. My neighbor showed me a photo of their scones yesterday, so I made it a point to stop. It’s right next door to my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Volcan called Burrico’s.
The service was excellent, the coffee was outstanding, and the scone was delicious, all for $3.40. I had shopped for organic bulk goods there before, but this was the first time I stopped just to have breakfast. If I were to rate this place in stars, it definitely gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
I also had the opportunity to meet some expats who had driven from the United States to Panama using their own vehicle. They have been living in Volcán for five weeks now and planned on staying put. We chatted and exchanged WhatsApp information. Wonderful people!
Next time you’re out looking for a nice, quaint place to have coffee, why not stop by Pantásticos Granos Enteros y Panadería? Shop around while you’re there. It was the only place that I could find organic red lentils and wheat germ in Volcán.
